The Village Panchayat Calangute commemorated Gandhi Jayanti and Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti, honoring the values of simplicity, honesty, and public service that these great leaders embodied.
On this special day, the Panchayat also inaugurated the Village Development Programmes under Gram Vikas Abhiyan (GV 1.0), aimed at empowering women, youth, businessmen, and the broader community.
This initiative marks a step forward in building a cleaner, stronger, and self-reliant Calangute, while carrying forward the legacy of our national leaders.
