On 27th May 2025, the Village Panchayat Calangute hosted a Capacity-Building Workshop on Eco-Friendly Mushroom Cultivation at the Panchayat Biodiversity Office. Organized in collaboration with the Goa State Climate Change Cell and the Goa State Biodiversity Board, the workshop focused on climate-resilient livelihood opportunities, solar energy solutions, and hands-on training in mushroom cultivation techniques. The initiative supports sustainable development and empowers locals with green income-generating skills.
