The Village Panchayat of Calangute inaugurated the new Biodiversity Office located on the first floor of the Panchayat building, marking a major step toward environmental stewardship. The ceremony was attended by Sarpanch Shri Joseph Sequeira, Secretary Shri Arjun Velip, Ward Members Francisco Rodrigues, Alex Coutinho, Savio Gonsalves, Ex-Sarpanch Shawn Martin, and Calangute Association President Padma K. Nair. This office will serve as a hub for biodiversity preservation efforts and promote sustainable practices to safeguard Calangute’s natural heritage.
